During the last years, we all have witnessed a widening gap between the remarkable technological achievements that take place in many other industrial fields (i.e. pharmaceutical industry, automotive industry etc), and the construction industry standards. Even today, people design and construct new buildings without any automation.
This results in great losses of money, time and, of course, comfort. Especially in Greece, where one would expect the significant financial progress of recent years to enable automation technologies be incorporated in new construction, this is definitely not the case.
